Now, I have to show you what I found today! Pay attention, and read the blog daily while I am gone, because I might have a quiz later where you can win some Riley and Company stamps!
We had a fantastic day today antique hunting! Edmonton has some really terrific antique stores, and I here are some of the cool and totally strange things I found today!

Mecca!!!

Check out the incredible display piece I found today! This is about 24 inches high (it's on a table in this pic.) and holds my little The Right Shoe shoes! These are so RARE!!! And it's SOOOOO mine! It totally set the tone for the day. Now, to get it home.....

And speaking of shoes, these are soooo tiny - they hold rings! Yep - I need to get them in the store! (and in my office!)

And a brass shoe! Heavy little sucker....

And tiny little shoe ornaments! I told you the theme of the day was shoes!

Speaking of things I need - a blinged out clipboard!

Or a really cool Breakfast at Tiffany's wall piece! A faux TV and a vintage pink couch!! I can see this in my office can't you??
And now, for the totally strange finds of the day. For those of you who are terrified by clowns, cover your eyes....

This is a manequin. The bodice is Modge Podged with comic strip pieces. I couldn't decided if I liked it or not, and then there was this on it's head.

Scary. And $160 worth of scary. What do you think?
ok. now, check this out....

ok - maybe a different view.....

Yes - it's a styrofoam head, covered with sewing pattern pieces. Kind of cool - kind of freaky. What do you think?? It would seriously be a hit at Halloween.....
And this was not in plain sight, but around a corner towards the back of the store.....

Yep. I jumped. Did a double take. And turned around real quick so my back was to it. And then I grabbed my camera of course. It was SO REAL looking! Holy cow!
Tomorrow, I get to show you Fort Edmonton! It is amazing!
Until tomorrow!
HUGS!!!!!
