Amy is a renowned college artist and watercolor guru. NO ONE does watercolor like Amy does! Last time, she taught a brilliant Watercolor 101 class, which left all the students asking for more!

Watercolor & the Rubber Stamp (201)
Friday, October 7th, 6 – 8:30 pm.
Continue to explore the world of watercolor & stamping! We'll cover a bunch of different techniques: play with salt & rubbing alcohol for explosive backgrounds, work Pearl Ex & plastic wrap, use markers for cool effects, & learn an easy calligraphy style created with water. We'll continue to use stamps, but with a more "painterly" feel. Bring your kit from Watercolor 101 & receive more colors! If you need a kit, we have more available for $14 each, and it includes artist grade brush, colors, and palette. Please let us know if you need a kit.

Jump In The Water (301)
Saturday, October 8th, 9 am – 11 am
Watercolor, that is! Explore all the different ways watercolor can be textured, twisted & swirled. We'll play with razor blades, sandpaper, wax, resist & more...it's not as dangerous as it sounds! You'll leave with sample sheets of techniques & as many stamp art painted pieces as you care to play with. Basic watercolor skills are helpful with this class; please bring your own watercolor palette & brushes. I do have kits available for $14; this includes a brush, palette & colors. Please let us know if you will need a kit.

Christmas Crisis Afternoon Workshop
Saturday, October 8th, 12:00 pm – 6 pm
It's never too early to start on artful holiday gifts--join us for this special one day workshop and have a blast making all your Christmas goodies! We'll spend the afternoon creating 2 different sets of cards & envelopes, easy, After a short snack break, we'll make a pile of clever, artful ornaments. Use bottle caps, Memories glass, mini-canvas & more for one-of-a-kind ornaments--perfect for gifts or artsy decor for your creative space. Play with paper, stamps, inks, glitter, Perfect Pearls, Lumiere, wire, beads, fiber and beautiful ribbon--it all comes together for creative holiday fun!
