I have a couple really cool things I wanted to let you in on!

Aaron's in Ten Quivira (our shopping center) is having a benefit for the Joplin tornado victims. They will have Bobby Labonte (6 - 8pm), Michael Waltrip (6 - 6:45 pm) and David Reutimann (6 - 8 pm) at their store! You can get pictures and autographs for FREE when you bring in canned goods, blankets and toiletry items! They are hoping to fill a semi for these folks! And yes- you can bring in clothing as well.
And I will sweeten the pot! If you bring any non-perishable items to this event - I will give everyone who does so, TWO pink tickets for Tim's event! Do you have to be there? Nope - drop off your items at the store anytime today and we will take care of it for you. Please help us in supporting these folks - I can't even imagine what they are going through. But wait - there's more!
Be An Employee for a Day!
And you don't even have to work! BUT you can get our substantial employee discount on your entire purchase! Here is how it works:
This Saturday, from 1 - 4 pm, bring in any non-perishable item for the tornado victims in Joplin. I will give you a Tim Holtz Pink Ticket in return! We will keep these ticket separate for the day only, and at 4 pm sharp, I will draw one winner that will get a certificate for one entire purchase at our employee discount of 25% off!!!
After the drawing at 4 pm, we will combine the days pink tickets with the rest for the Tim Holtz Event, and you will be entered for his door prizes as well. BUT - YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. (So, go to Old Shawnee Days early when it's cool, and come see us in the afternoon!)
It's going to be a feel good, give back kind of weekend. And yep - we will have Make & Takes too! Hope to see you here!
