Make & Takes for Saturday, June 4th

Happy Friday Everyone! 

As usual this week has been crazy around here! But it started with an incredible gift from one of my fav people in the whole world. My Dolores. Just look what she made me!

It is so beautiful it literally took my breath away! I haven't taken it off since! I love my Dolores. So so so  much.

AND - check this out.....

We just got our merchandise for our amazing Tim Holtz Weekend (coming up in TWO weeks - can you believe it?) and it came on pallets on a semi-truck! Holy cow! And since Dolores took vacation today and next week, I think I might just save it for her to check in when she gets back! he he!

We had a very rewarding night last night helping with the relief efforts for the Joplin tornado victims. The event was at Aarons, and they almost completely filled a 26' foot truck full of non-perishable items for the folks in Joplin. WOW! The people in KC are notorious for their generosity and last night was no exception. But we aren't done yet!!!

And you don't even have to work! BUT you can get our substantial employee discount on your entire purchase! Here is how it works:

 This Saturday, from 1 - 4 pm, bring in any non-perishable item for the tornado victims in Joplin. I will give you a Tim Holtz Pink Ticket in return! We will keep these ticket separate for the day only, and at 4 pm sharp, I will draw one winner that will get a certificate for one entire purchase at our employee discount of 25% off!!!

 After the drawing at 4 pm, we will combine the days pink tickets with the rest for the Tim Holtz Event, and you will be entered for his door prizes as well. BUT - YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. (So, go to Old Shawnee Days early when it's cool, and come see us in the afternoon!) 

 It's going to be a feel good, give back kind of weekend. And yep - we will have Make & Takes too!
