A New Weekend at Stampers Ink! (and your M&Ts for tomorrow)

Happy Friday Everyone!

As I sit here eating some strawberries, I am amazed that it has been a whole week since the arrival of Tim and all his followers. Where does time go??? But in that short week, we have finished the new calendar for July and August, had a terrific Cricut class, cleaned up a BIG mess next door and made some Make & Takes! Not too bad!

Here is a little sneak of the classes on the new calendar.....

This is our newest monthly class - Altered Houses! You will make three a month. Imagine collecting these little guys every month! Wheee!!!!

And we will make these adorable little treat boxes from Inky Antics!

And to finish out June, we have these 10 cards we are making next Thursday for only $18.....

There are a LOT more fun classes on the calendar, so you will have to check it out on our website.

Our next guest instructor is the very very talented Linda Cain! She will be here in August with these classes.... 

Artful Dwellings

Chunky ATC class! I love this. And the best part - you can take ALL three classes for only $105.00! But get signed up early folks - these will sell out fast. There are only 24 spots in each class available.

Before I show you your Make & Takes, I just have to give you a glimpse of what the folks created in last nights Cricut Club. We used the Father's Day cartridge.

Therese Boyd designs our Cricut Club classes, and she is amazing! Next month - glass etching with the Luau Cartridge! These classes sell out, so if you want a spot - HURRY!

And finally, with Tim and Mario gone we are blue. Elegantly blue that is!!!

 

This is Make & Take #1 for tomorrow.

We borrowed this design from the cover of the new Stamp It (which is now in stock)! It was just so beautiful we couldn't resist!

And the next is something elegant in purple....

The purple is so deep, it almost looks black here, but it's not.

Tim Holtz Class Updates

Hello! How many of you are counting the days until Tim gets here???? Me too! 

Here are some updates you may need to know.....

Transportation to class from the Drury Inn - Added June 8th

Need a ride to classes and back from the hotel? No worries! We can pick you up if you need a ride. Just call us at 913-248-7826 to make arrangements PRIOR to class.

 Checks In Time Announced. - Added June 8th

You MUST check in to be able to attend class. You can check in for all your classes at once, but you must check in. Check in times are:

Friday, June 17th:  4 pm - 7 pm

Saturday, June 18th: 7:30 am - 8:15 am

Sunday, June 19th: 8:30 - 9:30 am

Ten Quivera Shopping Center merchants climbing on board! - added June 8th

Several of the merchants in our shopping center are providing weekend only specials for the attendees of Tim's Classes! You won't even have to leave the shopping center!

Make & Takes for Saturday, June 4th

Happy Friday Everyone! 

As usual this week has been crazy around here! But it started with an incredible gift from one of my fav people in the whole world. My Dolores. Just look what she made me!

It is so beautiful it literally took my breath away! I haven't taken it off since! I love my Dolores. So so so  much.

AND - check this out.....

We just got our merchandise for our amazing Tim Holtz Weekend (coming up in TWO weeks - can you believe it?) and it came on pallets on a semi-truck! Holy cow! And since Dolores took vacation today and next week, I think I might just save it for her to check in when she gets back! he he!

We had a very rewarding night last night helping with the relief efforts for the Joplin tornado victims. The event was at Aarons, and they almost completely filled a 26' foot truck full of non-perishable items for the folks in Joplin. WOW! The people in KC are notorious for their generosity and last night was no exception. But we aren't done yet!!!

Be An Employee for a Day!

And you don't even have to work! BUT you can get our substantial employee discount on your entire purchase! Here is how it works:

 This Saturday, from 1 - 4 pm, bring in any non-perishable item for the tornado victims in Joplin. I will give you a Tim Holtz Pink Ticket in return! We will keep these ticket separate for the day only, and at 4 pm sharp, I will draw one winner that will get a certificate for one entire purchase at our employee discount of 25% off!!!

 After the drawing at 4 pm, we will combine the days pink tickets with the rest for the Tim Holtz Event, and you will be entered for his door prizes as well. BUT - YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. (So, go to Old Shawnee Days early when it's cool, and come see us in the afternoon!) 

 It's going to be a feel good, give back kind of weekend. And yep - we will have Make & Takes too!

NASCAR and Giving Back....

 I have a couple really cool things I wanted to let you in on!

Aaron's in Ten Quivira (our shopping center) is having a benefit for the Joplin tornado victims. They will have Bobby Labonte (6 - 8pm), Michael Waltrip (6 - 6:45 pm) and David Reutimann (6 - 8 pm) at their store! You can get pictures and autographs for FREE when you bring in canned goods, blankets and toiletry items! They are hoping to fill a semi for these folks! And yes- you can bring in clothing as well.

 And I will sweeten the pot! If you bring any non-perishable items to this event - I will give everyone who does so, TWO pink tickets for Tim's event! Do you have to be there? Nope - drop off your items at the store anytime today and we will take care of it for you. Please help us in supporting these folks - I can't even imagine what they are going through. But wait - there's more!
