I just HAVE to show you all what I found last weekend.......
The fam took a road trip to St. Joe last Sunday to check out the Jesse James Antique Mall. O. M. G. I though I found mecca people!I found tons of cool buttons, a letter S and letter I from an old store front sign, wood spools and a cool antique scale. BUT WAIT! There's more!
Right next to the JJA Mall, was a store called The Rusty Chandelier. And people, believe me when I say - the day only got better! Two feet in the store and I found stuff I wanted! This store was a total mix of new and old. Kind of like the Curious Sofa used to be but tons of booths full! Hubby and kids finally gave up and I was on my own.... (he he he)..... here is a little sampling.......
Think it's big enough?
Perfect on my restored desk.....
But my two favorite finds?????
An absolutely beautiful piece by Lee Powell... (that is now hanging in our class room)... and absolutely the coolest thing I have ever seen.....wait for it..... wait for it........
Oh yeah. My new business card holder! It's made by Kelly Lampton from old pieces of jewelry! If you ever get a chance to stop by these these two stores... do! You won't regret it. Definitely a cool day trip coming up......
Now - onto things in OUR store! New class samples......
Quick Cards for April.....
Quick Cards for March (next week - only 3 spots left.....)
and straight from Tim's Blog......
Altered Tags for March 30th. Cool huh? I couldn't wait to use the new sets! How fun!
And now..... here are your Make & Takes for tomorrow.....
Adorable huh? Both are made with Copics (as all our projects usually are...), and there's no limit! Only $1 each! I hope to see you tomorrow.... and in case I don't...
GO CATS!
Sorry - couldn't help myself. :-)
HUGS!
