Hello Fellow Bloggers and Stampers Ink Fans!

Before I get to the Make & Takes, I want to show you a couple fun boards that came in this week. 

First up - Northwoods. Their boards are ALWAY stunning, and this is no exception. Trust me, this photo does the board NO justice at all. It's all different birds and is absolutely beautiful!

Next is the new Inky Antics Honey Pop Board! They have done it again! There are new designs and a new color of Honey Pop Paper - Rainbow!!!!!

There are 12 new Riley the Moose (and Sophie too!) images in the New Riley and Company January 2012 release that just came out yesterday too! This is one of them.

This week has also been the week for magazines! Did you know Stampers Ink carries over 20 different magazines each month??? Here are the latest from Austrailia, Somerset and Cards.

Card Tournament - Round One Contestants! VOTE NOW!

Here are our entries for the first round of the Stamper's Ink's Card Tournament held last Saturday!

Each "player" was given the same papers (no piece was bigger than 5.5" x 8.5"), ribbons and inks to work with. They were allowed use of only three stamp sets, and 4 Nestability Sets.

Please vote by leaving a comment on this post with your favorite card # in it! Winners are chosen by the number of votes they get, so make sure you vote! And the winner gets a Stampers Ink gift certificate!

I have your Make & Takes for tomorrow, but first..... We have been busy busy this week working on class samples - check these out!

Next Tuesday is our  Altered Mini Canvas Class. In each class (once a month), we take three little tiny canvases and turn them into adorable mini houses!

This month we are doing an "Altered Valentine" theme. All for only $18!

Next Wednesday is our Altered Tags class. This class is one of my favorite classes because it is soooo technique heavy.

And for those of you who simply can't get enough of Dana DeCarlos recipe pages - I have a HUGE treat for you! Her next class is February 1st, where you will be making these.....

Vintage Valentine Altered Canvas Houses

These are so adorable I just had to share!

Each month, we do an Altered Canvas Class where we make little hosues out of mini canvases. And for February? Mini Vintage Valentine Houses!!!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have had a terrific week so far!

It's been a great week at Stampers Ink, including getting a TON of new product and hosting an insanely packed house two days in a row for our 10 Card One Page Wonder class! If you haven't been to the hottest class in town - give it a try in February! Ten cards - just $18!

More site seeing in Edmonton.....

Have you ever been on one of those road trips when you see an open gate somewhere that looks cool, and...  you just kind of feel the urge to go through it? (You really know you aren't supposed to.) And then you see another gate that just seems to be saying "Hey, since you are here, come on in!!". So you go through that gate too?

That is exactly what happened to us the other day and you won't believe what we found! Fort Edmonton Park! The park consists of different "streets" which represent different periods in time. It starts with Fort Edmonton which was built along the North Saskatchewan river in the late 1800.

Some buildings in the Fort, as they stand now, are the actual buildings. Othrs have been moved here or perfectly recreated to resemble the original. Although the Park was actually closed one kind person we found told us we could keep driving around. Look what we found!

The actual Fort. The walls are over 30 feet high, and put together with wood pegs, not nails.
